Millions of people across the globe are affected by human trafficking, and LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults are among those most vulnerable to fall victim. This publication explores guidelines for a healing-centered approach for treating those victims once they are free. It was distributed in 2021 both digitally and physically.

Given the heavy subject nature, the design of this publication needed to remain sensitive, thoughtful, and non-stigmatizing. The illustrations convey the message without making any generalizations or using triggering imagery. For color palette, a calming blue took center stage accented with NLHEC’s branded blue and a punchy orange to add depth.
